Allan Royster, President / CEO
Allan Royster has been a leader in the construction industry for over 35 years from working with local political leaders to U.S. Presidents Allan has differentiated himself by being a positive force for the construction industry.
Originally from Illinois, he moved to San Diego over 40 years ago. A graduate of the University of Kentucky, he has been a Developer and General Contractor since 1975. In 1980 he purchased a downtown San Diego building that has served as the Royster Group Construction Corporate Offices for almost 30 years. Allan has spent many hours in community charities & improving the local economy. He is married, has two adult daughters and two granddaughters.

Dale Tompkins, Senior Project Manager
Dale is a San Diego native, who went into the construction field after college. He successfully completed the carpentry apprenticeship program, and became a journeyman carpenter in 1973. Dale obtained his General Contractor's license in 1976, and subcontracted framing and finish carpentry, as well as custom homes and light commercial.
Dale has worked in the commercial field exclusively for the last ten years, and held positions such as estimator, construction manager, and project manager.

Jimmy Jones, Superintendent
A San Diego native who joined the Carpenters Apprentice Program in 1972 and worked as a journeyman carpenter for over 25 years. After which he earned a General Contractors License in 1978 and ran a small business building custom homes and remodeling. He became a superintendent in 1999, supervising the construction of over 400 homes, commercial tenant improvements, renovations and public works projects. He has been married for 30 years with two daughters and three grandchildren.

Shawn Peterson, Project/Office Coordination
Shawn has lived in the San Diego area for 30 years – 20 of which she has worked in the construction business. She has won several awards for outstanding job performance. Shawn’s duties include job safety, bids, contracts and office management and coordination.
